Automated typesetting, publication workflows

As a growing premedia company we have learned to look beyond our own desks and front door. In working with different authors, publishers and organisations we have acquired a lot of experience in defining, setting up and implementing publication workflows.

From developing an authoring template and providing course material for users, to guidance of publishers and production staff. From building a (partially) automated layout workflow, to using XML as an intermediate format or result. The process, starting at content creation and resulting in a publication ready format, can be optimised in numerous ways.

Creating such a (semi-)structured and automated environment allows efficient publishing and drastically cuts your time-to-market and production costs.

Automatic typesetting, XML/SGML layout

Software like XPP, 3B2, Structured FrameMaker and Adobe Indesign aswell as XSL-FO technology give us the opportunity to create high standard printable documents without any manual intervention at all. Combined with a scripting or programming effort these possibilities are leveraged even more.
Database or CMS fed publication of XML and SGML can be set up in such a way that you will be able to deliver your content not only swift and correct but also visually appealing and clear.
