BookDB-XML

BookDB-XML is powerful database publishing software, for automated composition and typesetting of documents such as catalogues, pricelists, manuals, flyers and reports based on data in one or more databases. Export to different media like print and digital formats is possible in one mouse click.

Many organisations are looking for ways to manage, publish and distribute their data efficiently. BookDB-XML offers all the functionality you need to automatically generate print-ready documents derived from a database. This means that you can easily publish data from one or more existing systems according to the desired layout.

BookDB-XML enables data extraction from any ODBC database (e.g. MS Access, MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Navision, SAP) in order to generate an XML export which is immediately applicable in publications.

Workflow

 
  • Because XML is medium, platform and software independent, it is perfect for various applications (paper catalogues, online webshop, …)
  • Through SQL queries and XSLT the XML export can be generated and structured as to everyone’s desire
  • Apart from texts it is possible to generate illustrations and images based on database content. Examples are charts, geographical maps or technical drawings.

CORE attracts interest from 20 different countries. - 20.10.2009

Crius Group presented CORE, a new online publishing tool, at the Frankfurt Bookfair last week. Apart from the appointments made on beforehand a lot of trade visitors showed spontanious interest in CORE. In the meantime CORE is entereing the beta testing phase and is to be deployed commercially as of the beginning of 2010.
