Crius Group provides Digitisation Services, wether you have printed sources (OCR) or even handwritten manuscripts (dataentry), we have the right solution.
Most organisations have legacy content which they wish to make available through new technologies. Collecting your data, and more specifically capturing your data, often requires converting paper to electronic documents. Crius Group provides extensive OCR services and has a solid data entry capacity.
Data Entry
Over the years we have optimised our OCR workflow so that now we are proud to offer you streamlined processing of your legacy publications on print. We convert static paper documents and PDF files, of any Western language, into manageable electronic data, saving you time and effort.
Where OCR is not an option, i.e. for written manuscripts, annotated text files or correctional work, we have a battery of data typists. Over the years they have proven to be fast, professional and reliable in capturing your data in electronic form.
Naturally we offer Double Keying- to produce your electronic content. But we do more! We have also implemented an OCR-Keying workflow.
We run high quality OCR over your documents and simultaneously an operator keys in. The process is finalised by another operator who compares the results of OCR and Keying.
This is a timesaving and costefficient solution for large data entry projects.
Camera Ready
Do you want to reprint a publications of which you only have a few remaining hardcopy's?
Is there no digital version available?
For one on one reprinting we offer Camera Ready service. We scan every page of the book in high resolution. The next step is to reposition the scans in a new InDesign file.
Don't worry about Bleed, we will take care of that too! The result is a high quality PDF that can go straight to your printer of choice.
Innovation support granted for CORE! - 11.12.2009
Crius Group presented CORE to the IWT in November with help from Innovatiecentrum Antwerpen.
The final report was beneficial for Crius Group and CORE and the IWT awarded us with a very good score and financial support for the research and development of CORE.

Crius Group presented CORE, a new online publishing tool, at the Frankfurt Bookfair last week. Apart from the appointments made on beforehand a lot of trade visitors showed spontanious interest in CORE. In the meantime CORE is entereing the beta testing phase and is to be deployed commercially as of the beginning of 2010.

CORE raised interest with people from all over the world.
