"Improving Publishing through Technology"

Crius Group presented CORE to the IWT in November with help from Innovatiecentrum Antwerpen.

The final report was beneficial for Crius Group and CORE and the IWT awarded us with a very good score and financial support for the research and development of CORE.Development of CORE started in August and around the same time we came across Kurt Peys of the Innovatiecentrum Antwerpen. He guided us to IWT as he saw the innovational character of our idea. He also helped us prepare our case for IWT and at last in November we got a chance to present it.

The jury of two experts in the field of software and development awarded the quality and innovational character of CORE with an "A". They shared our estimation of originality and relevance of the application. In the end we got a very good report and were granted financial support for further development based on the merits of what CORE is and will be.

The Innovatiecentrum Antwerpen (Innovation center Antwerp) is part of the Innovatienetwerk. The Innovatienetwerk is a network of go-between organisations and knowledge centers that are active in innovation support, coördinated by the IWT. 924 people from 164 organisations offer a wide range of expertise to support your innovation efforts. Any Flemish company can rely on them for innovation support.

The IWT (Instituut voor de aanmoediging van Innovatie door Wetenschap en Technologie in Vlaanderen) is the government agency for Innovation by Science and Technology. They help Flemish companies and research centres in realizing their research and development projects. They offer them financial funding, advice and a network of potential partners in Flanders and abroad. They also support the Flemish Government in its innovation policy.
