What are exam preparation bundles?
Everyone who has ever taken an exam in the Netherlands knows what an exam preparation bundle is. They are bundles of past exams and teacher tutorials that you use to practice in order to get your degree. Very handy! The concept was devised by the educational publishing house ThiemeMeulenhoff and is as simple as it is effective.
At the moment, all bundles are still published in paper format, but in the future digital versions will also be brought out. Revising these bundles every year was a major challenge for our editorial team. Ready to amaze!
From pure chaos to clear structure
Altogether, ThiemeMeulenhoff publishes 41 exam preparation bundles every year. In the past, the bundles were scattered among various typesetters, so the layout was inconsistent. We saw opportunities there! The first thing to do was to reformat the existing bundles to create a uniform structure.
All the elements were styled in the same way to make the conversion to digital easier later on. The next step was the actual revision itself, something that has to be done every year. Our team makes the necessary corrections, adds the exam from the previous year and deletes the oldest exam. And there you are.
