Benefits of asset management with Casper
Import
You can upload assets to Casper either individually or in bulk. You choose how this is done: drag-and-drop, FTP, etc. After uploading, metadata are automatically retrieved from the media files.
Quality control
Duplicate files, missing metadata or a low file resolution often spoil the fun when using an asset management system. Not with Casper, because a quality check is always performed on imported items. If something is wrong, you are notified immediately.
Relationships and links
Casper manages the various relationships between the assets. When assets or the metadata have changed, you can save them as a new version or variant, maintaining the link to the original asset. It also creates links to the content and publications in which the assets are used. Making sure you always keep an overview.
Scalable storage
Casper can handle all common file formats - from JPEG to PSD and from MPEG to WAV. What's more, Casper is in the cloud, allowing the system to grow with your organisation. This avoids troublesome migrations.
Easy search and metadata
Metadata stored in the assets are automatically retrieved when you upload them. In addition, you can easily adjust these metadata, including in bulk.
The search options are top-notch and you can search directly in external databases such as Shutterstock. The smart folders make searching even easier: you immediately see all assets that share a theme or certain characteristics.
