    Eveline Helmink

    Eveline Helmink currently works as a team and organizational coach and an experienced facilitator specializing in collaboration, change, and the development of personal leadership. Prior to this, she spent over 25 years in the media industry, including serving as editor-in-chief of the versatile media brand Happinez. She has witnessed firsthand how creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation repeatedly spark off each other and mutually reinforce one another.

    Ronnie Overgoor

    Ronnie Overgoor once again takes on the role of chairman of the day during Crius Update Live! With his energetic enthusiasm, infectious humor, sharpness and relaxed interaction, he consistently scores highly at conferences, events and award ceremonies. During interviews he switches rapidly between serious questions and sharp humor. He likes open and genuine conversations, always respecting who he is interviewing. Sharp, but always with respect as a crash barrier.

    Marcel Van Denken

    Marcel has been active in the industry for over 25 years. He has held various commercial positions at graphic companies and knows the Dutch and Flemish publishing worlds like no one else. In his role as Sales Director at Crius Group, he maintains close contacts with all publishing clients and monitors industry trends. Together with his colleagues, he is responsible for marketing and sales and helps shape the strategic direction of Crius Group.

    Jurgen Willems

    After having held various operational positions within Crius Group, Jurgen Willems took over from his father in 2007. Since then, as Managing Director, he has been in charge of the day-to-day running of the company. Jurgen is a strategist by nature and this is reflected in his policies. He has transformed the company from a traditional typesetting business to a one-stop-shopping partner for publishers, where process optimisation and the efficient deployment of solutions are key.

    Kees Engelmoer

    Kees Engelmoer has 30 years of experience in strategic innovation at the intersection of technology and business. Since 2024, he has been Manager of Educational Technology at ThiemeMeulenhoff and, as a member of the management team, is responsible for the Data & Innovation portfolio. After starting his career at KPN, he worked successively for the CIOs of NS, Randstad Holding, and Achmea. For the past eight years, he worked at bol.com, where he was technically responsible for the launch of the KoboPlus e-book subscription, optimization of the product catalog, and marketing personalization.

    Anna Macleane

    Anna worked for 10 years in the pharmaceutical sector, including roles as a Product Owner. For the past few years, she has been a Product Owner at CB, responsible for customer portals such as CB Online for publishers and booksellers, as well as communication flows via messaging, web services, and ONIX. Anna enjoys collaborating with clients to conceive and develop new solutions, and then working together with the IT team to further develop and roll them out so they are actually used.

    Jens Gilis

    Many of you will already know Jens Gilis from Crius Group’s product Core. After several years working as a typesetter, he is now taking on the role of Core Manager, contributing his insights on how Core fits into the evolving publishing industry we are all part of. This also led him into a research role at the launch of Accessible Publishing, where he has spoken at several sessions and events about how Accessible Publishing has forever changed our ebooks.

    Bram Van Impe

    Bram Van Impe is General Manager at Vanden Broele, a Belgian IT company with the DNA of a publishing house. He strongly believes in the power of combining in-depth knowledge with innovative technology. From that conviction, he helps build digital solutions that enable public organizations to work more efficiently and strengthen their societal role.

    Sander Ruys

    Sander Ruys is the founder and publisher of Maven Publishing, a leading Dutch publishing house specializing in books that provide new insights into human behavior. Together with Alexander Klöpping and Ernst-Jan Fout, he also co-founded POM.press, a publishing company focused on technology, culture, and media.

    In addition, Sander is co-founder of The AI Book Company, where he developed the AI book concept: an innovative format that transforms existing books into interactive AI assistants accessible via WhatsApp.

    Luc Van genechten

    Luc Van Genechten is Solutions Manager at Crius Group, which has been providing services in content creation, management, and distribution for over 35 years. Luc has extensive experience as a bridge-builder between business and IT, working with both large and small organizations, and has contributed as a consultant to numerous content management projects.
