Meet our Amsterdam editorial team
Since May, 2022 we also have a full editorial team in the Amsterdam city center. Most people know Crius Group as a reliable and innovative typesetting partner, but we also offer editorial support. And we don’t just do this in Belgium, but also in the Netherlands! Time to introduce our Amsterdam team.
Three Professional Editors
Our Amsterdam editorial team consists of three experienced editors, who collectively have decades of experience as (in-house) editors for general, educational, scientific, and literary publishers, both in the Netherlands and abroad. They love books, have an excellent sense of language, and are not afraid to successfully handle stressful projects under tight deadlines.
The team manages several hundred titles per year, including scientific books, novels, thrillers, textbooks, and general non-fiction titles for clients like Veen Bosch & Keuning, Walburg Pers, HarperCollins Netherlands, Overamstel Uitgevers, and Amsterdam University Press. What do they do? Naturally, they handle standard editorial tasks such as managing freelancers, creating and monitoring production schedules and budgets, and overseeing proofreading. You can also trust Crius Group to find translators or to produce, evaluate, and improve AI translations. And finally, they offer advice on e-books, design, workflows, and other technical matters.
Full service or small-scale support
The Dutch office has an extensive network of copy editors, proofreaders, and translators. If you opt for full service support, you simply hand in the manuscript in the first phase – even if it still needs to be translated. After the agreed time, you'll receive it back as a ready-to-print PDF along with an (accessible) ePub file. In the meantime, they coordinate the entire process in consultation with you. This way, you benefit from seamless collaboration between the typesetters at Crius Group in Belgium and the editorial team in the Netherlands.
Is complete care too much? You can also outsource specific parts of the editorial process to us. Would you rather just let us do proofreading? Or do you quickly need an editor? Want to involve your own designers, typesetters, and freelancers through us? That’s also possible with Crius Group. Flexibility is our keyword.
