Teamplayer Myriam celebrates 20 years of service at Crius Group
She has been employed for no less than twenty years, our Myriam Aertgeerts. She is one of the first DTP employees to join Crius Group (then Style) at the time. And she still comes to work with great pleasure and dedication. Defintely something to celebrate!
Flying start
Myriam has seen Crius Group grow from a small company into the SME it is today. She got off to a flying start on June 11, 2001, while we were still based in the office in Baal.
“It was quite exciting that first day of work, but I had a good feeling about it. And that gut feeling was right! I immediately felt at home here. The team was still very small with Jos, Linda, Jurgen and eight colleagues, but there was an immediate click. A nice gang and a family atmosphere with the occasional BBQ before the weekend started,” says Myriam.
Experienced several developments
In 2005 Myriam moved to the current building in Hulshout. Style was renamed Crius Group and new colleagues continued to arrive. As one of the first desktop publishers, she has experienced several developments at first hand. For example, at one point she had to use her best English when we teamed up with Genesis Textware in India.
“In 2018 the office in Hulshout underwent a thorough renovation and that came as a real reward for me. Such an inspiring environment makes work a lot more pleasant. The atmosphere is great: eating together in our bistro, exercising in our fitness room or chatting under 'our tree', it's all possible. It is really unbelievable how 'my' company has grown so much and that I was allowed to be a part of it. Twenty years later, I'm still glad I saw this vacancy in the temporary employment office!”, says an enthusiastic Myriam.
She whispered to us that she would like to stay a little longer and we are very happy about that! That's what her colleagues think, by the way, with whom she turns out to be very popular. 🤩
Myriam is really a colleague you can count on. Not only for me, but also for her colleagues, she always jumps in the gap. She can handle any type of publication and is very versatile, nothing is too much for her. A top colleague with a top mentality who delivers top quality, in one word: a real teamplayer!
