Crius Group helps to tell stories. We have been active in the field of typesetting and making digital products for 30 years. This is the story of Core, the new way to efficiently produce novels and thrillers in printed and digital format.

The publisher first!

Crius Group's mission is to really help publishers. We already did that for educational and scientific publications, but not yet for novels and thrillers. But what exactly does the publisher want? We have combined the know-how of Overamstel publishers (launching customer) with our technology. All this with a special outcome as a result. A total solution for making novels and thrillers faster and cheaper. And all that while maintaining the same quality.

That, of course, did not go without a hitch. "The publisher" does not exist and moreover it soon became clear that we had different stakeholders to take into account.

The introduction of a new way of working takes time, energy and money.
No (publishing) director opts for this kind of solution without knowing the investment will be recovered.
The new way of working can't be too complicated.
Every editor is a professional who wants to be focuses on the content. The use of new technologies has to be functional and not too radical. That is why we have chosen for solutions that are widely accepted in the market.
No compromises on quality!
Quality is of course the most important thing. Graphic templates are used to start from and each book is checked manually before it is sent to the printing office.

The results are impressive!

Hundreds of thousands of pages have already been made with Core and have saved just as many pounds on typesetting. The two largest publishing groups in the Netherlands are very satisfied and have been using it for years!
